Simply, insert into the pre-set template fields any information you would like to provide Legislators w/ a specific summary of the problem a Bill is intended to address, and any rationale/summaries of whom is impacted by this Bill.
Simply, copy and paste links into the template fields when you are writing your position.
When you have already made a position and want to edit, click on your profile, the bill you made a position on, and you’ll be prompted with your original position to be read and or edited.
Click on a bill and when you go to post your position, at the very top of the position template click ‘Add Suggested Amendment’.
If you do not want to post your position, but want to save the material you have already inserted, simply click ‘Save Draft’ at the top of the screen instead of ‘Publish’ to back out of the position making mode.
Dome IQ will provide you with a confirmation notice immediately following you posting a position, to confirm its arrival to Legislators.
The three-color thumbs-up symbols are a quick reference for you to note how many advocates support, oppose, or are taking a neutral stance on a particular bill.
Do note: Legislators are allowed to see all positions posted by any Legislator. As an advocate, however, you are only able to view your own specific position templates. Though you can see the amount of those who support, oppose, or are neutral on a bill and who those advocates are, you cannot see their position templates.
At the top of your screen, click on the ‘Search’ field to begin searching.
When using the global search function, simply click on ‘Advocates’, to have your search results return to you related to any advocate in Dome IQ.
When using the global search function, simply search for a Legislator by typing in their name to view all the legislation they have sponsored.
You can search for any bill or advocate by inputting a key word, phrase, bill number, sponsor name, advocate type, advocate name, etc.
To track updates on a specific bill, including bill amendments, or added or flipped advocate positions, click on ‘Follow’ above a specific bill so that its updates show up first on your home screen when you login to Dome IQ. To unfollow a bill, simply click ‘Unfollow’ above a specific bill.
Follow bills to stay up to date with the most recent changes to a bill. Following a bill will allow you to receive Push Notifications (See k. Push notifications) on that bill.
Click on ‘Settings’, and click on ‘Manage Staff’ to view + add/delete any staff member you would like to access Dome IQ on behalf of your account.
Click on ‘Settings’, and click on ‘Manage Staff’ to view all staff members assigned access to your account. To remove, click on the name of the staff member you wish to remove, and click ‘Deactivate’ to remove them.
Click on the ‘Legislators’ tab, and filter by chamber, party, district #, or name to find a specific Legislator.
Legislators are allowed to see all positions posted by any Legislator. As an advocate, however, you are only able to view your own specific position templates. Click on ‘Settings’, and ‘Notifications’ to see and change all your notification preferences.
Depending on your device, if you go to your phone settings and search for ‘Dome IQ’, you will be prompted with options to allow Push Notifications to be sent from our software or not.
Click ‘Forgot Password’ when logging in to have an email sent to you with a link to safely reset your password.
To ensure Dome IQ remains safe and secure from phishers, hackers, and other decedents of our platform, Dome IQ will regularly require that you confirm your identity by sending a one-time passcode to your mobile device number or email address so that Dome IQ sure you are an authenticated user logging in.
If you are not sent a code via text or email when prompted to do so, please contact support@domeiq.com to receive manual help resetting your password.
Click ‘Settings’, and ‘Account Settings’, and next to your registered email address will be a button labeled ‘Change Email’ to quickly update your email address.
If you do not receive an email confirmation from Dome IQ, please contact support@domeiq.com to receive manual help in confirming your email address.
Click ‘Settings’, and ‘Account Settings’, and below your registered email will be a section labeled ‘Phone Number’, where you can add or update your phone number connected to your account.
Click Settings, and the yellow button labeled ‘Edit Profile’ to see all your editable fields attached to your profile.
At this time, Dome IQ is only offered in the English language.
Click ‘Settings’, and ‘Manage Organizations’ to view + add/delete organizations connected to your account. From this screen, you can login and manage specific account positions or profiles.
Your Home Screen consists of a list of all the bills your account has taken Supporting, Opposing, or Neutral positions on. Under ‘Details’ you will be able to see all the public facing information Legislators and other advocates see when viewing your profile. To edit, simply click the ‘Edit’ button.
Dome IQ only authorizes verified accounts onto the platform. When signing up for Dome IQ, be sure to receive an email confirmation from Dome IQ that your account is verified.

Dome IQ is not responsible for any lost position or materials due to an account deactivation. If you deactivate an account, Dome IQ automatically saves the account for a standardized period of 180 days before the account is permanently deleted from our database. To avoid loss of material, please attempt to keep your account activated by not deactivating your account.
You are given a choice to be billed monthly or annually. Those who choose annual billing will receive a discount.

When you may suspect your account has been breached by an unauthorized user, please contact support@domeiq.com so that our team can manually assist you in resetting your account password and or email in order to lock out unauthorized users.
Do not share your password with anyone. Do not share your password even with your own staff – if you wish to grant staff permissions, simply follow the instructions in 1. h. Staff Access to add staff to your account. Each staff uses their own distinct and separate password, so do not share your password even with staff.
Do not share your password with anyone. Regularly manage staff permissions to ensure those updating your account are authorized employees or staff of your account.
Legislators can access Dome IQ 24/7. Anytime you post a position, Legislators will be notified if 1. They follow your account, 2. They follow the bill your post a position on, 3. The Legislator represents the district your account is associated with – if the Legislator allows in-district notifications.
If you suspect an account using Dome IQ may be an impersonation of another advocate, please immediately contact Dome IQ support at support@domeiq.com to report the account for review and verification.
We will remove content that contains abusive, vulgar, offensive, racist, threatening or harassing content, personal attacks of any kind, or offensive terms that target specific individuals or groups. We will remove spam and content that promotes services or products, or that involves political campaigning. We will remove comments that give the appearance of legal, medical or financial advice. We may remove content that contains personal information (whether your own or someone else's), including home address, home or cell phone number, or personal e-mail address, in order to protect privacy.

Dome IQ will not tolerate any form of online intimidation, slandering, bullying, name-calling, campaigning or abusive actions.

Under the hateful conduct policy, users are prohibited from promoting violence on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease.
When you publish information about someone without permission, you potentially expose yourself to legal liability even if your portrayal is factually accurate. Most states have laws limiting your ability to publish private facts about someone and recognizing an individual's right to stop you from using his or her name, likeness, and other personal attributes for certain exploitative purposes, such as for advertising goods or services.
Dome IQ accounts that pose as another person, brand, or organization in a confusing or deceptive manner may be permanently suspended under Dome IQ's impersonation policy.

You cannot mislead others on Dome IQ by operating fake accounts. This includes using misleading account information to engage in spamming, abusive, or disruptive behavior. Some of the factors that Dome IQ takes into consideration include: use of stock or stolen profile photos, particularly those depicting other people; use of stolen or copied profile bios; and use of intentionally misleading profile information, including profile location.
